Corporate Communications Specialist

The Corporate Communications Specialist will inform, educate and engage internal and external audiences.  This individual will be the liaison and bring regional input to a global Corporate Communications platform as well as regionalize global communications for internal and external platforms. The Corporate Communications Specialist will play a proactive role in tesa’s internal and external reputation management and engage with raising tesa’s brand in industry trade publications across all industrial markets within North America.  In addition, the role will manage the digital development and ongoing maintenance of a new Intranet platform (launch in 2021), internal digital messaging systems and set up external product announcements and key messaging. This position creates a unifying voice for the company both internally and externally.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop a tesa presence within North American industry platforms to raise tesa’s brand awareness in the North American market.
  • Oversee all external and internal corporate communication, ensuring that all communications conform with tesa brand standards
  • Assist with drafting, reviewing and editing content for company messages, including but not limited to emails, videos, internal intranet postings, PR, newsletters, presentations and other communication channels
  • Ensure internal and external messages are delivered consistently and aligned with the company's strategic goals and branding
  • Creatively develop content for tesaSky, digital signage, ttNA intranet leveraging storytelling, to foster employee and community engagement
  • Develop, review and provide guidance on communication and policies for company-wide distribution
  • Work with key internal role-players to brainstorm content ideas, in line with the company’s strategy and in support of various brand initiatives
  • Provide review and support to cross-functional teams on messaging and branding to targeted teams or work groups
  • Support internal digital communication platforms
  • Manage tesa’s brand listings and placements in the market
  • Monitor digital channels for brand references and reputation management
  • Regularly measure and present results of communication efforts
Qualifications:
  • Experience with digital communications & platforms
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing/communications, public relations or related field preferred.
  • 3-5 years relevant work experience desired
  • Must have excellent proficiency in the use of MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. 
  • Proficient with graphic design software programs (Adobe Creative Suite) preferred.
  • Able and willing to travel as required – estimated 15% out of state
